More: A Memoir of Open Marriage

By Molly Roden Winter

This debut memoir of a happily married mother’s exploration of sex and relationships — outside of her marriage — comes just in time for our relationship issue. Clearly, it’s a juicy read about things like sex, lust and jealously — but also is filled with humor, bravery, self-discovery and explores the question of what authentic relationships can mean or look like.

Adelaide

By Genevieve Wheeler

At first glance, it’s a Millennial love story with a fun and talented 26-year-old American meeting her charming “Disney prince” in London, but then ultimately delves into an exploration of a toxic relationship and how the devastation of unrequited love can tear us apart — but also has the power and perspective to piece us back together stronger with a newfound sense of self-love.

Netflix’s Emmy-winning reality series, “Love On The Spectrum” is back for season two. The show follows people on the autism spectrum as they explore the dating world including the joys and challenges that come with the experience. While the focus is on the potential love being formed between the show’s daters — the love and excitement we witness from their parents and families supporting them through the process — gets us every time.
